Tiny Centurion
Please meet Juno - She is 'Vagabond Strays' member no. 100! 🍾
It is not a coincidence that this memorable Stray is a donkey: when I first began thinking about creating miniature pull animals from felted wool - quite some years ago -, the most vivid image in my mind was always of a little toy donkey on wheels.
Time restraint and other commitments kept me from giving needle felting a try until April 2018, but bringing that imaginary donkey to life was my first ambition. I hardly knew anything about this particular fiber art when I started, so I just went along with where the needles and wool took me, slowly shaping my way into a blossoming new passion that will probably last a lifetime.
Born from fluff, donkey Rosie (right) was literally a dream come true - and it was her that eventually led up to the final concept and realization of the 'Vagabond Strays' later that Summer.
Suffice to say that sweet Rosie is very dear to me, and it makes me so proud that she has now guided no less than 100 Strays into the world to find a loving home, and counting! 💕

Mostly musings and meanderings about my work as a seamstress and miniaturist, with all of the joy and struggle that comes with it.
Hello!
My name is Zo, and I'm endlessly fascinated with all things small: dolls, animals, miniatures, dioramas..
I feel very fortunate to be able to combine them all in my work!
Sewing doll clothes and bringing little critters to life allows me to do what I love every day - and connects me with some really amazing people all over the world.
